There are many shop houses along Kampong glam. Especially the textile shops. There are many of them around. There are many materials too(eg. silk). They are often used to make saris and carpets. These textiles are very smooth and have many patterns. Even though there are many muslims around Kampong Glam, It does not mean that all the textile shops are run by muslims. They can also be run by people from other countries such as Arabia and Indonasia. We met some of them and and learnt 'thank you' , 'goodbye' and 'hello' in their national language.
Well, I love your picture as it was well-taken. But, I can also see that most of your pictures are taken from the internet but you actually state the source. But I think that if you use your own pictures that you have taken, the teacher grading this blog will have a better impression on you and hence, you will gain high marks.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest enough, your pots are well written and relevant. Your pictures also, are well-taken and to the point. I agree with char kway- Teow Kampong Glam on most points, you should try to be more "legal" but I am more refering to the pictures taken, being dishonest in this point is leaving a bad impression of it. But I love your blog, it has all so many infomation and is well packed .
